Developed for oily and blemish-prone skin types, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ seeks to clarify and hydrate for up to 24 hours while providing visible results in just eight hours. The dual-action daily gel helps to minimise the appearance of imperfections, dark spots and discolouration, alongside diminishing the look of excess sebum for a more mattified finish.
Fortified with salicylic and lipo-hydroxy acids, the moisturiser provides a gentle micro-exfoliation, helping to decongest pores and promote smoother-looking skin. The formula is supported by niacinamide and zinc PCA, lending brightening and hydrating benefits, alongside encouraging a unified tone and texture. Mannose locks in moisture to help encourage a visibly smoother surface. An advanced phylobioma active ingredient tops the composition to protect from excess sebum and future breakouts, balancing the complexion and layering well with makeup to leave the skin feeling purified and nourished.

avoid eyes and lips
So I have only used this product so far for a couple of days. Is a nice texture and feels smooth to apply, however would definitely avoid if you have sensitive skin. I personally do not have sensitive skin, but got this product maybe a little close to my eyes and lips and it stung a bit. It probably says as most products do, not to apply near eyes, however I didn't expect it to sting even being slightly close to my eyes. If the product works well I would be happy to avoid near my eyes and mouth, just would definitely avoid if you have particularly sensitive skin.
