Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser (200ml)
A foaming face wash specially formulated for oily, blemish-prone skin. With a minimalist, high tolerance formula, the foaming cleanser gently lifts away dirt, grime and sebum without disturbing skin's natural balance, and is proven to reduce the appearance of spots and blackheads while controlling shine. Enriched with La Roche Posay Thermal Spring water and Zinc PCA. Skin feels clean and fresh. Doubles as a body wash.
Effaclar Duo [+] (40ml)
A lightweight gel moisturiser that combats oily and acne-prone complexions. Formulated with Salicylic Acid to help unclog blocked pores and Zinc PCA to balance sebum levels and reduce shine, the anti-blemish face cream helps to treat and prevent blemishes and blackheads while delivering intensive hydration. The moisturiser minimises the appearance of discolouration and dark spots left behind by acne while also soothing the look of inflammation and redness. Skin will be look clearer and feel more comfortable with a mattified finish. Free from parabens, preservatives, soap and colourants. Hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested.
Cleanser: Lather cleanser in the hand with warm water. Massage gently onto face, avoiding eye area. Rinse thoroughly. Pat dry.
Moisturiser: Apply to the whole face and neck morning and evening. Avoid eye contour.

Not happy
So I've been trying to find something to replace my ProActiv an thought the reviews on this seemed good...first couple of days my skin seemed refreshed but then I started breaking out all over my chin, big painful spots..my blackheads are awful all over my nose an chin an they weren't like that before!! I suffer with sensitive oily spot prone skin an this has made it completely worse!

Not all it was cracked up to ve
I read that this was the set to use from acne prone skin and break outs. I’m 33 and suddenly started suffering cystic acne on my chin. Using this has stopped the break outs, I’ve not had any for weeks although I can now feel small blackhead like spots gathering under my skin. I have oily/combination skin and this has made my skin look dry and old! My wrinkles are more defined and I have dry patches on my cheeks. The face wash leaves my skin feeling initially clean but then tight and dry and the cream doesn’t seem to do anything to ease it! There is a claim that after 2 weeks skin pigmentation fades, doesn’t seem to be the case at all!

Amazing Product
I had really bad breakouts from contraceptive pill and also from my oily skin and I tried EVERYTHING in order for them to stop until my mum ordered me this as she read great reviews and in fact within 2 days of using it ( its been over a month now) I have not had ONE SINGLE breakout. AMAZING AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Effaclar Range
I have been using the Effaclar cleansing gel wash and toner for over 3 weeks. And the Effaclar Duo+ for 2 weeks. I have very oily and spot prone skin. I had bad acne as a teenager and my oily, black head and spot prone skin as been the bane of my like, I am in my 40's now. I love cleansing gel and toner combination. I have large pores after using this combination, I am saying 'what pores?' My skin purged bit around the chin area, very slightly for the first two weeks. 3 weeks in with the 3 products and I am fresh faced, with tiny pores. I am lucky that I never developed scarring despite squeezing every blemish that popped up! The effaclar duo+ is so lightweight, you don't even know your wearing a moisturiser. Plus it acts to reduce any blemish that decides to surface. Oh, if this product was available 30 years ago, it would have saved a lot of shyness and the lack of confidence that goes with acne teenage skin.
