The continuous steam pressure of this unique tool, combined with its anodized ceramic plates, straightens and smooths the hair to leave it feeling smooth and looking glossy.
Designed to give you beautifully sleek and manageable tresses, this Professionnel Steampod is an new innovative hair styling invention from L'Oreal that can be used to create a variety of finishes, from smooth and supple looks to soft, tumbling waves.
Suitable for all hair types, this Steampod is similar to the traditional salon blow dry, except this treatment requires use of an ingenious preparation cream, enriched with cuticle-smoothing keratin, which is to be applied to shampooed hair before expertly blow-dried. Then working to deliver a localised stream of high pressure steam to the hair shaft, deeply hydrating the hair without causing heat damage, the Steampod gives you a high gloss finish that looks fresh from the salon.
With five temperature setting to suit all hair types, even coarse, thick locks, the Steampod tool boasts a water filtration system to produce pure steam to rehydrate and nourish damaged hair while the blow dry creams are packed with Pro-Keratin technology to help rebuild and strengthen fibres to leave hair looking smooth. Continually releasing steam whilst the detangling comb attachment and ceramic plates straighten, this Professionnel Steampod from L'Oreal gives you amazing results that will last until your next shampoo.

Steam pod saviour!
I never write reviews but had to after receiving and using my steam pod. I received it last week and have used it twice. I was very close to buying another pair of GHDs but so glad I didn't. The steam pod is absolutely amazing! I have really dry, frizzy and damaged hair which takes me ages to straighten and I have to go back through it every day or more if going out. With the steam pod I style it after washing it and that's it until I wash it again, I really cannot believe it. It is the best thing I have ever bought and worth every penny. It took a few minutes to get used to it as it is a bit bulkier and heavier than other straighteners but worth getting used to. My ghds had damaged my hair and after using these, my hair feels so soft. Thank you loreal and thank you 'look fantastic' for super speedy delivery. Very happy customer

SteamPod is must have product. Is the best product I ever had! I have long, thick, dry and frizzy hair. With the SteamPod my hair is straighter, shinier. smooth and silky. it's so easy to use with long hair. I love it!

Amazing!!
I am mixed race and have thick, curly, dry, frizzy hair that is also quite damaged from bleaching. After using my regular straighteners (ghds) within an hour my hair becomes frizzy so most of the time I tend to wear my hair natural and curly. After reading reviews about the steampod I thought I'd take a risk and invest in some and I am sooo glad I did! They're amazing (literally)! I straightened my hair with them today and my hair has stayed straight all day with no frizz whatsoever. I love that they have a comb attached too which ensures hair is straightened from root to tip. All I can say now is bye bye ghds I'm converted! Steampod all the way :)

Very good item, straightens hair really well. It is however a bit bulky and can be slightly difficult to handle depending on the angle of the hold

L'Oreal Steampod
My second set of GHD straighteners stopped working after several years use. My hair is extremely thick and although the straighteners do a good job, it is hard work straightening my hair after it is washed and I get bored with doing it! When I was looking to replace my GHD's I did some research and was recommended the L'Oreal Steampod by Look Fantastic. At the time it was out of stock and I didn't feel to go ahead and order GHD's. When it came back into stock I ordered the steampod and I am really glad I waited to do so. Although it is a little cumbersome to use, to me that is of no consequence, as I can straighten my hair with the steampod much more quickly. I do it more roughly in clumps, rather than pinning my hair up to do several layers with the GHD's, which takes ages. Using the recommended cream and serum, after it is done my hair feels nice and silky and less artificial in appearance. It takes me easily one quarter of the time to straighten, as opposed to conventional hair straightners. So, if your needing to invest in a new pair of straightners, I would highly recommend the Steampod. You'll get used to using it and it will save you time Diane W.

WOW!!!
this product has changed my life - the results are fantastic. my hair is naturally curly and frizzy and i have used straightners for the past 10 years or so. recently they broke and i decided to try the loreal steampod, i am absolutely delighted, i can actually use it after washing/drying my hair and not need to use it again until 3 days later! the steam is also much better for your hair. i would recommend this product to anyone with thick and frizzy hair - you will not believe the results!

Delivers as promised!
I have long, thick, dry, frizzy, even coarse hair, but after a quick (2-3 mins) SteamPod treatment, it's soft and oh so straight - and the effect lasts until the next wash. Despite having "ironed" my hair for 6 months now, it remains in the same condition as before. The device is heavier than modern hair straighteners but totally manageable. I have borrowed my SteamPod to friends and colleagues and they all love it!
