The continuous steam pressure of this unique tool, combined with its anodized ceramic plates, straightens and smooths the hair to leave it feeling smooth and looking glossy.
Designed to give you beautifully sleek and manageable tresses, this Professionnel Steampod is an new innovative hair styling invention from L'Oreal that can be used to create a variety of finishes, from smooth and supple looks to soft, tumbling waves.
Suitable for all hair types, this Steampod is similar to the traditional salon blow dry, except this treatment requires use of an ingenious preparation cream, enriched with cuticle-smoothing keratin, which is to be applied to shampooed hair before expertly blow-dried. Then working to deliver a localised stream of high pressure steam to the hair shaft, deeply hydrating the hair without causing heat damage, the Steampod gives you a high gloss finish that looks fresh from the salon.
With five temperature setting to suit all hair types, even coarse, thick locks, the Steampod tool boasts a water filtration system to produce pure steam to rehydrate and nourish damaged hair while the blow dry creams are packed with Pro-Keratin technology to help rebuild and strengthen fibres to leave hair looking smooth. Continually releasing steam whilst the detangling comb attachment and ceramic plates straighten, this Professionnel Steampod from L'Oreal gives you amazing results that will last until your next shampoo.

Great product
I would definitely recommend Loreal steampod, its really quick and much more effective than other straighteners. I would have give 5 stars but I haven't been able to achieve waves like I can with other straighteners because the device and plates are too big for my medium length hair. however I would buy it again.

Silky and shiny hair without effort
L'Oreal Steampod is truly amazing product, especially for people with very curly undisciplinable hair. The old straightener that I had now goes to trash. I do not need to use expencive masks and conditioners every time I wash my hair - steampod makes my life much easier.

an improvement on hair straighteners
I have thick, long, curly hair. I've used straighteners for about 5 years and they worked well. My initial impression of the Steampod is that it is quicker to straighten hair and the brushes/teeth feel more gentle than the squeezing between harsh metal plates. I've used it with the L'Oreal creme too (though not tried the serum they do) and use deionised water as recommended. It feels more like I've styled my hair when I've used them, compared to straighteners - seems easier to keep body/shape for some reason. The downside for me is only that the tongs are quite large & heavy so clunkier to use than straighteners .

excellent believe all the hype
I have tried all the top end straighteners and these blew them all out the water , even my GHD Eclipse. They leave my thick frizzy long hair smooth for days. I usually had to straighten my hair at least twice a day with my GHD Eclipse because as soon as I went outside my hair would turn to a frizzy mess ~ dragged through a hedge backwards look. The Steam Pod is my HG straighteners. My hair is soft , smooth , super shiny , bouncy and stays straight until my next wash. These are worth every penny and I wish i'd found out about these before i shelled out for the GHD Eclipse. The only problem I have with these is that they don't have a swivel cord and can get tangled up which can be annoying , but the end results are worth it. I have recommended these to all my family and friends and when they saw the results , they all want to use mines. These are definitely the best I have ever used and my HG straighteners.
