The continuous steam pressure of this unique tool, combined with its anodized ceramic plates, straightens and smooths the hair to leave it feeling smooth and looking glossy.
Designed to give you beautifully sleek and manageable tresses, this Professionnel Steampod is an new innovative hair styling invention from L'Oreal that can be used to create a variety of finishes, from smooth and supple looks to soft, tumbling waves.
Suitable for all hair types, this Steampod is similar to the traditional salon blow dry, except this treatment requires use of an ingenious preparation cream, enriched with cuticle-smoothing keratin, which is to be applied to shampooed hair before expertly blow-dried. Then working to deliver a localised stream of high pressure steam to the hair shaft, deeply hydrating the hair without causing heat damage, the Steampod gives you a high gloss finish that looks fresh from the salon.
With five temperature setting to suit all hair types, even coarse, thick locks, the Steampod tool boasts a water filtration system to produce pure steam to rehydrate and nourish damaged hair while the blow dry creams are packed with Pro-Keratin technology to help rebuild and strengthen fibres to leave hair looking smooth. Continually releasing steam whilst the detangling comb attachment and ceramic plates straighten, this Professionnel Steampod from L'Oreal gives you amazing results that will last until your next shampoo.

Wonderful
From someone that uses hair straighteners on a daily basis and tested them all, this L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod is by far the best. The ends of my hair are left soft and undamaged and my hair is shiny. However, the slight niggles I have are that the process takes too long so for an emergency, meaning I often have to resource to my old straighteners. I also have curly hair and it is very difficult to bring the steampod close to my roots because of the way its built and unfortunately it's not really travel friendly due to its size and time it takes to use. I assume that at some point Loreal will release an improved version, fixing at least one of these issues, and I will definitely buy the new improved version. Dont let the price scare you though, its worth every penny!

Best thing money can buy
I had my hair done with these L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod in a salon. I decided to buy them and I can tell you it's the best money I've ever spent. I have a very curly bit at the back of my hair and nothing ever keeps its straight, but this works! I guarantee you will not use any other products after using these.

Wonderful
I have curly hair and have used ghds for many years, but the L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod is simply amazing. That 'bed head hair' you get the day after with ghd is long gone. My hair is healthy shiny and people comment on 'my new hair cut' all the time. it's not 'new', just the layers are much more visible as there is more body in the hair. My hair is my crowning glory and now I can love it with even more. A must for everyone.

Great product!
Great L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod. Like steam iron. Have tried several straighteners and to my opinion, its better than Ghd. However it's quite bulky so not recommended as a travel friendly product.

I love this L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod. It's easy to use. Every time after I have used it's like I've come back from the hairdressers. My hair feels so soft and frizz free.

This L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod does exactly what it promises! After giving up on all irons even the really expensive ones due to previous damage to my fine chemically treated hair I bought this! My hair looks like it was salon styled... or according to my husband even better! Lookfantastic promptly and safely delivered the item outside the UK!

What a fantastic product!!! Does exactly what it says, my hair is smooth and sleek. The difference is amazing even after a week. My hair looked dry and brittle through using straighteners. It now looks smooth and glossy and stays straight for a couple of days.

Best Ever Straighteners!
I was asked to trial the Steampod, as I have very thick unruly hair which I have to straighten everyday. I was eager to try it, as I find straightening my hair a daily chore and anything that promises to make this easier is a god send! I found straight away that I only needed to use it once on each section to gain beautiful straight hair, this alone makes it a 5 star product. On top of that my hair stayed perfectly straight after a night's sleep, meaning I only need to wash/straighten my hair every other day. I had read other reviews on this and noticed that people had commented on it being slightly complicated to use, as it can only be used in one direction. I didn't find this an issue, but can see how people might find this awkward to start with. All in all this product is amazing and I don't want to give it back.
