The continuous steam pressure of this unique tool, combined with its anodized ceramic plates, straightens and smooths the hair to leave it feeling smooth and looking glossy.
Designed to give you beautifully sleek and manageable tresses, this Professionnel Steampod is an new innovative hair styling invention from L'Oreal that can be used to create a variety of finishes, from smooth and supple looks to soft, tumbling waves.
Suitable for all hair types, this Steampod is similar to the traditional salon blow dry, except this treatment requires use of an ingenious preparation cream, enriched with cuticle-smoothing keratin, which is to be applied to shampooed hair before expertly blow-dried. Then working to deliver a localised stream of high pressure steam to the hair shaft, deeply hydrating the hair without causing heat damage, the Steampod gives you a high gloss finish that looks fresh from the salon.
With five temperature setting to suit all hair types, even coarse, thick locks, the Steampod tool boasts a water filtration system to produce pure steam to rehydrate and nourish damaged hair while the blow dry creams are packed with Pro-Keratin technology to help rebuild and strengthen fibres to leave hair looking smooth. Continually releasing steam whilst the detangling comb attachment and ceramic plates straighten, this Professionnel Steampod from L'Oreal gives you amazing results that will last until your next shampoo.

Fantastic tool
I love this L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod. It's so convenient to use and makes my hair look really shiny. It's not that easy to do curls though, and one of the only thing I don't like is that it's a little big on the handle for girls like me who have small hands, but overall it's good and I love it.

Smoothly does it...
Wow - finally a hair straightener to make ghd sweat a little! Having ruled the kingdom of straight locks for far too long, ghd finally have some serious competition on their hands. The Steampod is, cutting to the chase, blooming brilliant. Worth every penny. I sold my ghds and other worldly possessions on eBay to fund these and I can't say I've looked back. After some initial faffing (you may need some 'demineralised' water for your pod, or filtered, as most would), and getting it going is a little terrifying, the pod leaps into action and straightens the living daylights out of your unruly mane. Best of all: it stays put. Like, properly. Humidity, rain, sweat and small children won't mess up your perfectly coiffed look. I promise.

Love the steampod
Tried the L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod for the first time today on my very brittle, over processed, extremely frizzy hair. After washing my hair with L`Oreal Serie Expert Absolut Repair I applied the Steampod Creme for very damaged hair. Then blow dried and applied Steampod Serum on lengths. I chose 170C on the Steampod, which is the lowest possible temperature. Just used it once on each hair hair section. I was amazed how silky and straight, yet swishy my hair looked and felt. I had used a ghd so far, but will definitely stick with Steampod. Shipping was extremely fast too and the Steampod was perfectly well packaged. It came with a UK plug, which was not a problem at all, I used a converter plug and it worked just fine.

Excellent
This L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod is a fantastic product! I own a ghd styler too and I have always thought that that was the best... but after the Steampod... well, you will see! The fantastic thing is that at the very same time the heat repairs your hair. I can see the difference with the ghd one, which, however, is a fantastic product as well! But Steampod is just superior.. and consider that I always use the highest temperature.

I just used my L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod for the first time and felt I had to share the results! About me... I've got just-past-shoulder length dry, damaged, frizzy hair that can look quite puffy and parched and I always seem to have split ends, even after getting a trim. It's curly in places and straight in others, making me look like I've been dragged through a bush. I'm not great at styling hair and I'm a product-aholic on a quest for sleek, manageable hair. After using the L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod my quest is now complete! I used it after letting my hair dry naturally and without using the haircare products L'Oreal have developed to complement the Steampod (I have a bathroom full of expensive serums and protective styling creams and felt I should use these up before buying yet more). I found it easy to use, despite the one direction instructions, and after using it on one of the lowest settings (180 degrees) I really do look like I've just stepped out of the hairdressers, and I've not had to use de-frizzing creams on the finished result, which is unheard of for me. My ghds are now relegated for travel use and the Steampod is my new best friend!

L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod
I bought this L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod as they use it in the hair salon I go to and was really attracted by the fact that it doesn't damage your hair like others do. This can definitely straighten as well as the market leaders. but is better as it leaves a lovely shine and doesn't damage my hair. I only took one point away as, because it is a bit bigger than I'm used to, it is tricky to get right into the hair at the root.

steam straighteners
This L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod is fabulous. My 'wire wool' hair is now silky and smooth. I love these straighteners. They are definitely an improvement on the good old ghds which I did love dearly but I am now a devotee of these steamies.
