Amazing!!
i have only used it once or twice but i love it!! i used it on sunday to straighten my hair and still by thursday my hair was still soft and silky. my hair is curly so usually when i straighten and it’s cold outside my hair frizzes up but this didn’t happen when i used this product. i found that it was quite time consuming to use but i suppose the process will get quicker as i use it more. despite being very expensive i’m over the moon with the purchase

So far so good
I bought these as my hair is quite damaged so I've only used them on a low heat and they seem to do the trick. Whether my hair will be less damaged in the future is yet to be known but I'm happy with my purchase.

Awful
Just awful. These killed my hair. Used them once. My hair started snapping off. They were on the lowest setting and used protection spray. My hair is still snapping off two weeks later. My hair was so thick and lovely. I could cry. Reading other reviews on other sites about these, I see this is a common thing.

Game changer
I have never gone past GHDs but these are on a diffrent level, my hair is smooth but not to flat . Comb is a bit of a pest but you get used to it don’t take big sections of hair . But I highly recommend these .

Happily surprised at result
I was asked to try this product out and was delighted to have the opportunity to do so. I will be honest, I do not use any styling tools on my hair as it is long, straight and never holds a style for very long so have never bothered buying any. It took me a while to get used to using the SteamPod 3 by L'Oreal and I had quite a few attempts before I managed to get my hair to curl and stay that way. However, that is down to my lack of experience rather than the product. I like the comb in it and the fact you use a water tank for steam rather than dry heat and you can adjust the heat from 180°C to 210°C. I started with the lower setting as I knew it was going to take a few tries before I got anywhere. It made my hair smoother if I just glided down my straight hair, which was also a bonus for me, but when I got the hang of using it to curl, I managed some great waves which where perfect for me. Once I had the technique they were so simple to use, and while I will never be one to do this on a daily basis, I will definitely be using it whenever I go out and will finally be able to do something different with my hair without damaging it - I have waiting so long for this product!

Impressed
Must confess to not straightening my hair much in lockdown but I’ve used these steam straighteners a few times now and they are very good at straightening hair without drying it out or making it look too flat. They are a bit trickier to use than normal straighteners because you have to make sure the comb edge is facing downwards and the lead could do with being longer, but apart from that I’m impressed with them.

Super styler
I was thrilled to receive this product to review. I have used various styling tools in the past with varying degrees of success. The SteamPod30 has blown the rest out of the water. The steam, especially when used with Nutritive Nectar Thermique, keeps hair protected and moisturised whilst allowing superb styling. Bounce, waves and curls are all possible in very little time. This has quickly become my go to styler.

Brilliant hairstyler
I’ve used traditional straighteners for years, but this is truly amazing. My hair is unruly and frizzy and very difficult to tame. This styler smooths and straightens without much effort on my part and leaves my hair feeling soft and silky. I have had many compliments from friends - asking what I have done different to my hair. I would highly recommend this.

Fantastic next level styler
I have previously been using a few years old 'other reputable brand' ceramic hair straightener and just never thought I needed anything extra. I was worried this would feel bulky, but I very quickly got used to using it, and using it the right way up/down. It just feels more gentle on my hair and my hair has more movement after, compared to my old ceramic straighteners. I'm not a pro at hair styling by any means but I actually managed some lovely waves and curls with these.

Could not get on with this...
I was really excited to try the steam pod as I have quite fine hair which is dry at the ends & I want to protect it as much as possible. However, I found the steam pod not suitable for me at all. The ‘teeth’ pulled lots of my hair out however gentle I was. The overall effect was that my hair ended up looking flyaway & quite rough. The effect was nowhere near the sleekness I get from the new generation GHD.
