Great hair straightener
Absolutely love this Steampod! I have used other hair straighteners before and can really see a difference. It is so easy to use and the water tank is removable which makes it so easy to fill it in. You can also adjust the temperature according to your hair type/your liking. The hair becomes straight right away just after one stroke. It is also user friendly as the cord can be rotated. In the end, the hair feels soft and silky. Highly recommend.

Some good aspects
It took a few attempts to work out what was the best way to use this on my hair. I have dry, wavy, mature hair which is prone to frizz, so I used a mask, leave in conditioner and the thermal protection liquid that came with it. At first, I used the comb side of the straightening panels, at the lowest temperature. However, trying to move the comb through my hair tended to break and damage it. The next time, I used just the straightening plates and this was much easier. The results are straight hair, which I have always struggled with, especially at the shorter sides which tend to stick out normally. This also lasts all day which I was impressed with. However, I am unsure whether to use this on a daily basis due to breakage. I think this may possibly be due to the texture of my hair and people with smoother hair would probably have better results.

The Loreal Professional Steampod is so quick and easy to use. The professional steampod makes my hair looks so smooth and as though it has been into an actual hairdresser. Without a doubt, the best hair appliance ever!
I absolutely love this hair straightener. My hair is quite straight naturally anyway, but I have never failed to notice how much better it looks after being straightened at the hairdressers. Well this one is 100 times better than anything my hairdresser has ever used! It makes my hair beautifully shiny, poker straight and in amazing condition! I never thought a straightener would make my hair feel in better condition but this one actually does! Well done L’Oréal - you have created my new favourite appliance!

Amazing!
I have been trying to get the condition of my hair back to good after years of highlighting and straightening. These irons have made a big difference. I was a little skeptic but am really please. My hair doesn’t seem as fried and they are very easy to use. The comb edge gives a sleek finish. Lighter than I thought too. Would recommend.

Possible GHD convert
I’ve had the styler for a week so more time is needed to see whether it replaces my GHD’s but so far so good. It’s easy to use and I may need to use higher heat settings as I have slightly frizzy medium hair and the low heat curled well but the curls didn’t last as long as my GHD’s

Fantastic results
Having always only used GHD’s or other straighteners I was interested to see if Steampods would be any better and I have to say I was really quite impressed. Love that it has and integrated water chamber and long power cord simple to use and quick I only had to go over each area once rather than a few times that I normally do with GHD’s. My hair looks healthier and feels less dry with these. It is lovely to hold and not heavy and looks sleek.

Wowzers! Love Love Love!
So I brought the very first steampod a good 5/6 years ago now and did always like but it was bulky, struggled with the wire everywhere due to the pod and you couldn't curl as the wire just wound up... But then came along the version 3... Wow!!! First of all, it is so sleek with no separate pod, it's all done on the straighter itself and the cord doesn't wind up when curling. Second of all, it's just so gentle, kind and considerate to your hair! I have thick curly unruly hair that is regularly bleached but these cute my straightening time in half and left me with beautiful sleek shiny soft hair. I'm so impressed by these so thank you so much loreal!

GHD has competition......
In the past, I only used my hair straighteners on special occasions. Having damaged hair (bleached and coloured), I was conscious of any additional damage I was causing when styling, however when I got the chance to try the L’Oreal Steampod 3, I jumped at it. I’ve never used “steam” on my hair before. This Steampod needs demineralised water (which I got online), do not use tap water. I used Kerastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique on my hair then blasted it with hairdryer prior to using the Steampod. TOP TIP: these are not like normal straighteners, do not use them too near to your head as the steam will burn! I used a wide toothed comb to lift up my hair while using the Steampod. The hot plates and steam felt quite smoothing when using this on my hair and did the job first time without the need to go over my hair again and again. I was impressed on how quick and easy it was to use the Steampod and how great the overall results were. This will definitely be part of my morning routine. Thank you for letting me review this, it was a pleasure.

Best straighteners ever!
Well, all I can say is amazing!!! I used the nutritive nectar cream on my damp hair, left to dry naturally and then started using the Steam Pod. I started at 8.08am and finished at 8.23am. Considering I’ve never used one before, this is no time at all. I did make sure I’d comb it through before I started but these little beauties comb whilst straightening! The built in steamer made my hair feel silky and smoother than my GHD’s! There’s a great shine to my hair too!!! I simply love these and putting other straighteners on eBay! Amazing for my mixed black hair which is normally curly!!! Love!!!
