Calcium in water can further damage already delicate over-processed or bleached hair. Being more porous, damaged hair can absorb up to three times more calcium than natural hair.
Formulated with a concentration of pure citric acid and glycine, the formula transforms into a luxurious foam that decalcifies hair from calcium overdose, reduces breakage and visibly repairs hair. Hair is left feeling smooth, manageable and bouncy.

Mixed feelings
I’m not sure if I got a dodgy one but the shampoo is so thick I really have to squeeze the bottle, as if I was squeezing out a deep conditioning treatment. I like the feeling once it lathers and wanted to love it but it leaves a waxy film on my hair as if it hasn’t been washed properly. I’ve tried shampooing twice but it’s still the same problem. Will revert back to Bain Regenerant.

I’ve been using Kerastase for over 20 years so I was very excited to try their new range. First thought on the scent wasn’t as nice as the other ranges. But it’s did deliver hair was easy to comb through after washing and it felt squeaky clean. I didn’t see a dramatic difference in my hair but it felt soft shiny and hydrated combined with using the treatment.

When using this with the pre shampoo treatment I cannot rate this highly enough. Such a weird way of doing a shampoo and treatment but it WORKS. The shampoo smells divine and you layer on top of dampened hair with the pre shampoo treatment. The lather and foam you can really work through your scalp and strands.
