I am a huge Kerastase fan and have great experience using their products. I am just not impressed with this one.To clarify: I have a thick hair and I am highlighting it every 3-4 months ( balayage). As a result the lengths are quite dry, but the roots are normal. My natural hair is wavy,but I like it straight and smooth. Despite my hair being soft to touch,this product gave me even more frizz that I usually have in the morning. Otherwise it smells amazing if you like a strong smell.

Affective and affordable

Good but not if perfume sensitive
I like the way the product makes my dry, frizzy hair feel. Whilst I love the smell, it’s so overpowering that it keeps me awake. It puts me off using it more regularly. My husband loves the smell. It makes My head itchy so I try not to get the product on my scalp; not that that makes much difference. I am sensitive to most perfumes and bathroom products so it’s not surprising that this over perfumed product irritates me.

Makes my hair feel and look like hair again. I have suffered with breakage and dry hair but through no fault of my own as I don't use heat or colour my hair. Must be hormonal! Perfume on your head, laden with chemicals, limited impact on hair texture
This product pales in relation to the discontinued Kerastase Noctogenist Serum Nuit - which had a much lighter smell but a noticeable softening and strengthening effect on your hair. This one smells like someone's sprayed a very heady Chanel perfume over your head - it will interfere with any other fragrance you are using. It's laden with chemicals (more than 30). Even just a pill-sized amount smells terribly strong - I got a headache within a few minutes of using a small amount and had difficulty getting to sleep. Sadly - no noticeable impact on hair. Disappointing product. Suspect a lot of the money goes towards the glass bottle and branding. Please bring back the Noctogenist...
