Promote the illusion of fuller, thicker-looking hair with the Kérastase Genesis Serum Anti-Chute Fortifiant Hair Oil. Expertly designed to target weak strands, the high-performance hair oil is to be used daily to help protect, condition and minimise the risk of breakage.
Infused with an array of potent ingredients, the oil hosts ultra-nurturing properties to help nourish the hair from root to tip. A blend of edelweiss native cells, ginger root and aminexil work to hydrate the strands to leave hair feeling supple and silky-smooth.

- When to Use: Once daily in the morning or before going to bed.
- Recommended Amount: Apply 3-4 drops.
- Application: Apply onto a towel-dried scalp, section by section. 1 dose = 1 pipette until the mark. Do not rinse.

Great Range
I am really impressed with the Genesis range for making hair feel thicker and heavier. I have recently started using this serum and my mum has commented that my hair looks fuller. Smells lovely and doesn’t make your hair greasy.

Pricey but fabulous
Have been using this serum with the shampoo and conditioner from the same range. have always like Kerastase products and I think this range is my favourite. The serum, in particular, seems to give great body and shine and I think hair drop is reduced. The only thing is that it is easy to go through the product quickly, making it pricey. Having said that, I've just bought a second bottle so it seems worth it. Use of other products is reduced and that helps.

Not as effective
Having been a kerastase user for a while now, I was quite disappointed with this serum in comparison to other Kerastase serum I have used before. I was still losing a lot of hair daily during and after treatment, so went back to what I know. I have found the most effective for thinning hair to be Kerastase specifique anti-chute.

On the 2nd bottle
On my 2nd bottle. I am using the full range but I dont think I am seeing any major difference yet, but wanted to try it for at least 6 weeks. 1 bottle lasts about 3 weeks when you are using it correctly. Ill keep trying for a few more weeks anyway. I use the serum at night as I have thin, fine hair and it leaves my hair wet.

I purchased this expecting it to be a serum which I could run through the lengths of my hair that would act as a styling product while strengthening my hair against breakage, so I was surprised to discover it’s actually a serum to apply to the scalp and not the hair lengths. The texture was also not what I was expecting, it’s non-oily and almost dissolved into the hair and scalp leaving no residue or sign that it’s been applied. The smell of this product is insane, it smells like a perfume and I can smell it all day in my hair! I'm obsessed. I have only been using for a week so can;t comment yet on whether it works.The only thing is,it advises you to use it for 6 weeks with 4 doses a night, you will definitely need 2 bottles if not 3 if you are aiming to complete the course!
