Kérastase’s Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo is a clarifying formula that helps to minimise the risk of breakage and hair fall. Ideal for weak, brittle hair, the shampoo gently cleanses the lengths of impurities and excess oils, while leaving strands feeling stronger and fuller.
The formula is fortified with a blend of edelweiss native cells and ginger root to encourage the illusion of thicker-looking hair. Enriched with Aquaxyl for an added moisture boost, the shampoo promotes a lustrous glossy appearance.
- Recommended Amount: A coin-sized amount.
- Application: Wet hair and remove excess water before applying a small amount of shampoo onto the hair. Add water and emulsify.
- Routine: Rinse and repeat.

Did wonders for me
So I started out with dry, damaged, bleached hair prone to breakage and hair fall. I’d only have to brush my hair to be covered in snapped hair. But this has made a HUGE difference. I pair it with the Genesis serum and elixir oil and I won’t be without it now. My hair is shiny, healthier and I have barely anything snap when I’m brushing my hair now. Give it a go, a little goes a long way, literally only need a pea sized amount for a good lather. Smells amazing too!!

I’ve been using the Genesis range for a good few months now, and all I can say is this is a must have product if you’re suffering from excessive hair fall out and hair thinning. My hair not only feels thicker, but I’ve noticed less fallout when I wash my hair, and when I brush it. Plus it smells gorgeous too. Is it pricey? Yes, BUT it’s absolutely worth it. I stopped using it for a month and within a few days my hair immediately began to feel thinner and I had more fallout. I won’t be without this range now!

Great shampoo
I use this shampoo with the blue conditioner. This stops my hair fall, but dries my hair, the conditioner it’s quite heavy so it balances out and leaves me with amazing hair. Super happy with all their products really, but this one in particular is very good for hair fall and smells amazing too.
