Kérastase’s Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo is a clarifying formula that helps to minimise the risk of breakage and hair fall. Ideal for weak, brittle hair, the shampoo gently cleanses the lengths of impurities and excess oils, while leaving strands feeling stronger and fuller.
The formula is fortified with a blend of edelweiss native cells and ginger root to encourage the illusion of thicker-looking hair. Enriched with Aquaxyl for an added moisture boost, the shampoo promotes a lustrous glossy appearance.
- Recommended Amount: A coin-sized amount.
- Application: Wet hair and remove excess water before applying a small amount of shampoo onto the hair. Add water and emulsify.
- Routine: Rinse and repeat.

Best shampoo ever!
I have been struggling with oily, thinning hair and since discovering this shampoo and all in all the genesis series there’s a huge improvement. They’re a little on the expensive side but worth every penny. The hair lasts longer without washing 2-3 days sometimes and smells wonderful. I will never change my shampoo again.

However, since switching to Kerastase, the Genesis range in particular, my hair has been fuller and less prone to regreasing. I only wash my hair now twice a week! It smells amazing 👏 It is too early to tell if it is helping with hairless but I love it.

I have naturally grey hair and been struggling with frizziness as well. This shampoo is a godsend!
