It works
Great shampoo. It really does improve volume (though don’t expect dramatic results). I don’t particularly like the smell, to me it smells like cheap men’s deodorant/soap. Hence 4 stars not 5 (I would expect a luxury brand like Kerastase to smell a bit nicer to be honest). But it’s worth putting up with as the product itself is good. It’s also fairly moisturising for a volumising shampoo. One bottle lasted me over six months (I wash my long hair once a week but always do 2 shampoos), you only need the tiniest bit so it’s actually very good value.

A bit disappointing
After reading all the amazing reviews of this shampoo I had high hopes that it might have an impact on my fine, highlighted hair. I wash twice a week, which to be honest is a bit of a stretch and requires a dry shampoo on the last two days. But it's lockdown, and I just can't be bothered. I also bought the conditioner and the styling mousse. I have not seen any impact on my hair after using this for a few months. After I comb/brush out my hair after washing I have to clean out my brush and dispose of a big handful of hair (in addition to what comes out when conditioning), so I am not holding on to the hair I already have. It does look great on the day I wash it, but any shampoo will do that. The next day it is back to its slightly limp, sad looking state, especially my fringe. Day three is slightly better with dry shampoo but I'm definitely keen to wash it when wash day rolls around. It does lather very well (probably due to the SLS) and smells lovely, plus the packaging is beautiful. I do suffer from an itchy scalp and this has not helped matters at all (again perhaps it's the SLS). For clarity, I'm not a teenager with an oily scalp but I am menopausal which perhaps has an impact. I won't be buying this again, it performed no better than a standard pharmacy shampoo. I will use the bottle up however.

Love this shampoo!
My scalp was very itchy after using the same shampoo brand for quite a while so I wanted to try this one to see if it can improve the situation and it really works and my hair was so soft and clear. And the smell is very lovely too!

Very rich formula
I keep trying other types of hair care. This one was too rich for my fine hair. Left it looking limp. I do have very fine hair though. I will stick with Volumifique. Good quick delivery of lovely products from LOOKFANTASTIC though.
