Ideal for coarse, rebellious hair, the gel works to temporarily straighten unruly hairlines for a smoother appearance with touchable texture, and allows hair to be combed back into place the next morning. Can be used on natural or relaxed hair.
Apply a small amount along hairline. Using slight pressure, repetitively smooth down hair onto scalp using fingertips and/or a comb until hair is silky straight. For a stronger hold, apply more product as needed.

Easy to apply and lay edges, didnt need to wrap hair for edges to stay down. Quick drying. Could easier brush hair out following day with no residue.

It’s heavy
I usually use edge tamers from various different brands found in black haircare shops. They’re much cheaper than this Keracare product and much better. I found this product to be very heavy and tarry. It produces a reasonable effect, but too heavy and sticky. I probably won’t buy it again and glad I didn’t buy two as originally planned.

Does exactly what is says on the tin goes on smoothly excellent hold keeps all hair in place all day until you comb it out leaves no resdue, and very well priced only need to use a small amount to get a very frim hold.

This product definitely tames edges without looking to clumpy or greasy. I put a small amount on and use by backcombing bristle brush or a toothbrush to lay my edges. The only bad thing is that I left the lid off for one day and product became really dry

Slick Edges
I purchased the KeraCare Edge Tamer as my hairdresser always uses it on my new short hairstyle and it looks fabulous. I tried unsuccessfully to purchase in the stores to no avail. I eventually saw it on line at Look Fantastic and purchased a small tub 65g which is more than sufficient as you don't use loads, its lightweight and long lasting and does exactly what you need it to. Not greasy and sticky either. Think I will order another one which they have special offers and put it down. I do like a bargain, especially when its good stuff. Go on treat yourself.

I bought this for my young daughter, we put her hair up a lot and have been trying to find a product that helps keep the style in. She is growing her fringe out at the moment, so wanted this to try. Not bad, I would use it again. Not sure if I have found the right product yet. I have pinched this off her a few times though!
