Conjuring the nostalgia of a summer’s day, the Karl Lagerfeld Fleur d’Orchidée Eau de Parfum has the presence of a memory melting into the past. The fresh scent has a sensual warmth that wraps skin in a light, subtly spicy veil, making for a sumptuous blend. Inspired by both the crispness of sea air and the comforting heat of the sun, the perfume combines these two elements to create an idyllic, sensory scene.
Opening with radiant Grapefruit, the scent is bursting with soft citrus life that’s gently subdued by Neroli, which is sourced by distilling orange blossoms. Pink Peppercorns are dotted throughout this surface, adding a livelier dimension that simmers below the freshness. The heart blooms with fruity floral energy thanks to Orchid, Essence of Jasmine and Apricot. Evoking a sense of petals being blown in a gentle breeze, the scent then settles into a steadier base to ensure longevity. Patchouli and Cedar tangle with smooth Tonka Bean, creating a lingering trail.

Didn’t have the slightest clue what this would be like other than the description. Like other reviewers I chose this at random, mainly due to the price and looks good. It also smells SO nice. It has a sweet strong smell initially and then it calms down but the smell lingers for a long time. I for one love something that smells sweet with a hint of power. Can easily use for evenings out or everyday use.

I bought this as a blind purchase after reading the description on a couple of fragrance sites. I have been looking for a long time for something to replace my D&G Sicily as I love the soft powdery type of smell for a day time perfume. This is not Sicily but it is a lovely scent. It has quite a soft smell, I am getting jasmine but not grapefruit, a bit like a sun oil type of smell. Great value for money. I'm delighted with my purchase.
