So I was not sure how the lavender was going to work for a men's fragrance but this is a very elegant and fresh fragrance. Zesty notes help balance the the scent. I was unsure about the price for something is not a eau de parfum but the smell is not weak. The only reason I have knocked a star of is that after this settles, it is a little on the super sweet side.

L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme is a great everyday fragrance for men which is fresh and not overpowering making it perfect for daily wear. Although it’s called lavender , which is off putting for a male fragrance my husband and I both liked it as it had a citrusy, fresh tone but still had depth and smellt masculine. It's light enough for daytime use but can be used for evenings too as it’s distinctive . My husband also liked it as it lasted throughout the day without needing to reapply.
