With a sumptuously rich texture, Isle of Paradise’s self-tan butter works to nourish and illuminate your skin. Deeply moisturising, the formula contains a cocktail of Peppermint, Eucalyptus and Coconut oils that work to leave your body feeling softer than before. It absorbs quickly and won’t leave behind any unwanted greasy residues.
While hydrating, the butter works to develop a natural-looking tan that’s highly buildable, allowing you to customise your look. What’s more, the butter is blended with green colour-correcting actives that help to even tone across skin types prone to redness.
Suitable for vegans and cruelty-free.
Apply daily in place of your regular moisturiser. Wash hands after use.

Nothing special
Didn’t think this was all that to be honest! I think Garnier is better and also cheaper!

Horrendous tan
This is absolutely horrendous. It goes on clear with a heavy shimmer which isn't really clear enough on the description. Left it on for 6 hours overnight and woke up with the most horrendous streaks you've seen, smells disgusting aswell and doesn't fade properly or evenly. Just a note, I have used MANY MANY fake tans and gradual tans over the years- this was hands down the worst

Disappointing
I’ll start with the positive’s No biscuity fake tan smell, the butter itself is a lovely texture and seemingly applies well. Until the tan starts to appear, very dark patchy. I religiously moisturise and exfoliate, this tan comes wears off in patches and looks horrendous after less than 48hours. I won’t be buying again unfortunately

My new go-to
I absolutely love this tan - I much prefer a tinted moisturiser/ butter to a mousse, but sometimes struggle to get the shade/deepness I am looking for. IOP is perfect for me- it gives a deep tan with just one use whilst still looking natural (without being orange), and leaves my skin feeling incredibly hydrated. It is also really easy to apply, and fades incredibly well for me without going patchy. It is my new go to for my weekly tanning to keep that summer glow!

Unsure if I’ll buy this product again
Had very high hopes for this product but waking up this morning a lot of my tan has darker spots. I’m unsure if this is due to the first time using this tan ( I usually don’t have darker spots with moose ) I have applied another small amount of tan in hope this will correct it. This tan never marked my sheets or clothing and does have a lovely glow.
