BUILDABLE
I love this foundation, it’s my go to in my makeup kit as suitable for so many skin types. Love how buildable it is, for a light coverage to a heavier makeup look- totally flawless. I love to use with illamasqua hydra veil primer first.

wierd but it works!
Shade 01, yes it is as pale as it looks, milky white, think geisha or clown white, but it works. Probably shouldn't be classed as a foundation, more of a concealer/sculptor. It takes my face back to base, no more reds, blues, just a flat, pale colour which I can then add my foundation to for a flawless finish. Got a sample from illamasqua first to try my theory as to why such a colour exists

Great coverage
Very good coverage with this foundation however the way it blends is quite thick rather than creamy and wouldn’t work so well applicated With a brush would only go well on with a beauty blender.When applied it doesn’t look as good on the skin however 10 minutes later the product settles really soft on the skin and gives an oil free matte finish.

Little disappointing
The colour match was good, not often I can find a foundation to fit my skin tone without seeing it in person (pale with a pink undertone) but this worked well. It is very quick drying so I’d recommend doing your foundation in sections rather than applying to the full face. I have combination skin and unfortunately I found that while coverage was initially good, the foundation sank quickly into fine lines and flaked on dry areas while sliding on oily areas. I’ve tried combining with different primers and with none but so far haven’t had much luck. Back to the double wear for me I’m afraid

Bought Illamasqua skin base foundation in SB 8. I normally wear MAC Studio Fix in NW30 and found the SB 8 to be a perfect colour match. Foundation feels lighter than MAC but the coverage is equal if not better. Feels lovely on my face - not heavy and doesn't sit in fine lines. My skin has changed in recent months and my usual MAC just didn't look right - it looked too caked. This foundation is lightweight but gives full coverage. I am converted!!

Love this foundation! Gives amazing coverage without being too dry when applying, but it also doesn't go oily through the day if set with powder. Blends really well with a brush and don't have to use much product to get a perfect base. Think it is my new favourite!

Best foundation
First I've ordered SB08, unfortunately it was to dark to my skin tone, so I've ordered another one in color 4.5. I am mixing those two to get the perfect shade. I have very sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate it at all!

Good foundation
I'm sure I'm not the only person always looking for the perfect foundation . This isn't perfect but I do quite like it. Comes in a shaped container .and you do have to press quite hard to get it out. Quite a stiff consistency but blends in well, you don't need much to get good coverage. Colour a good match for me too. Will use this but probably won't rebuy, ok but not perfect for me.
