- When to Use: Prior to foundation application, use the spoon provided to apply one scoop to the palm of your hand. Using a foundation or highlighter brush, gently brush the product from your hand and apply all over the face, right up to the lash line until the product is absorbed.

Smooth Skin
Love this product! Gives a super smooth finish. Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. Great base to put tinted moisturiser on top.

Good primer, not so much moisture
This is definitely good as a primer. Its gel texture dries almost instantly making it fantastic for mornings before foundation, however I dont find it hydrating at all. My skin feels quite tight after using it and my foundation has been cracking lately. I received this product in a beauty bag and I wouldn't purchase.

This is an absolute must-have for any makeup lover. Even though pricey, a little goes a long way and it makes your face feel so smooth and soft. Makeup applied a million times easier and eye makeup is also easier to remove afterwards. Illamasqua has got me hooked

I absolutely LOVE this product! I am not blessed with oily skin and need to hydrate mine AND it is quite sensitive at the same time! I have been struggling with loads of primers that my skin just rejects and surprises me with some spots on the most inconvenient times. This Hydra Veil Primer is now a staple in my skincare -and make up collection and will continue buying it till the end of time :)

Holy Grail
I love this product. When i first tried it on the back of my hand it was really sticky and took a while to soak in. I used just over half a scoop (it comes with one) and mixed it with 1 pump of my foundation, it turned all light and fluffy and mousse like. It then applied like a dream, took half the time to blend into my face and the finish was just amazing. I dont think i can live without this now & need to try the other version too. Highly recommend this product.

I've used this about 5 times in the course of a week, to try and see if "practice makes perfect". I just can't see how this is could work? It's so sticky, it's like putting hair gel on your face, then it doesn't sink in at all and it makes my foundation go on patchy and horrible. Maybe the regular primer works but the hydra didn't for me- at all! Also broke out on my cheeks, which never happens to me.

Best Primer
The trick with this is to mix a spoon full with your foundation and blend onto the skin using a brush ideally - it gives a Photoshop finish and makes the skin really flawless. it also helps your make up stay put all day.... and night! I found that if I just wanted a natural make up look to just use the primer alone directly onto my skin and a pop of blush on my cheeks - it really smoothed out and blurred any lines or blemishes.

Love it
I wanted to try this one for so long and then I got it in my December beauty box, boy, was I happy. It's a gel type hydrating primer, you only need a small amount of product to cover your whole face, it spreads easily and sinks into my skin beautifully. Keeps my skin hydrated without adding shine to my combination type skin. Would recommend it and will be buying it when I'm done with this one.
