Pro Tip From Illamasqua Head Of Education - Mel Barrese: This palette is all about texture, with it's collection of shimmery, light reflecting shades. The gemstone colours allow you to build a multitude of looks whilst adding a touch of sparkle, day or night. For a deep glamorous evening look, darker hues such as Black Pearl and Sapphire Beam add depth. Simply apply to the lid and blend upwards and outwards. You can also add extra drama, by applying to the lower lash line, so you have a classic smokey eye and then finish off the look by applying black pencil eyeliner to the top and/or bottom lash line. Finally add lots of mascara to emphasise your lashes. For a softer, everyday look, stick to the peachy golden skin tone colours, such as Solar Flare, After Glow and Glow Beyond. These softer tones are amazing for adding soft shimmer and radiance to the eyes. Simply apply to the lids with a soft, small fluffy brush and blend outwards and upwards, finish off by applying mascara to your curled lashes. Whilst these eyeshadows are a gorgeous way to add light and reflection to your eyes, they are also handy for highlighting the face, colours such as Ultra Daze, After Glow and Ultra Daze are perfect for adding the ultimate glow.
