Good for wavy hair
I use this with a hair mouse, I put that on first and then a small amount of this to make sure it holds well, I've found that it works well in my slightly wavy hair. My main issue is with frizz, and this has seemed to helped that. I would definitely recommend this, it doesn't make your hair crunchy, but you should only use a small amount to ensure that.

Great gel for curly hair
This gel is perfect for my fine, Nordic hair. (2b-3b curls) Fairly strong hold, pleasant smell. I’ve been doing the curly girl method for about a year, and my curly hair is finally healthy. And actually curly, not just a mixed bag of textures... I apply the gel on micro plopped* hair, then plop for at least 10 minutes. Or blow dry if in a rush. The gel works nicely with Giovanni styling foam, too, which I tend to apply on damp hair. This gel-foam combination gives me a good cast (that I scrunch out when my hair is completely dry). *check out the curly girl method, CGM, for plopping, gel cast, scrunch out the crunch etc.

Nice gel for fine hair
I have fine hair and have struggled with a lot of gels, but I really like this one! I have mid length hair and 2b/2c curls, so they need a bit of enouragement as opposed to weiging down. I do a light gel cast when my hair is dripping wet and find it moisturising and excellent with frizz control, it gives my hair a nice shine too! I only use a pea sized amount and loosen it up with water, that's enough for me so one of these small bottles has lasted me over 6 months. Great that you can try it before you commit to the large bottle - well done Giovanni!

I find this gel does not leave my hair as moisturised as others I have used. I have curly hair so I have tried a lot. It does however have a good amount of hold, I find the drying effects are not so prominent if I mix it with a bit of one of my other gels.

I hoped to love this mousse because lots of curly girls love it. It has decent hold, but I find it leaves my hair a bit drier on the ends. I have tried using it in varying quantities and also pairing it with different gels to see if this helped, but my hair is just not a fan.
