Good but tricky shade selection.
I’ve been wearing double wear for years, in shades 3n2 wheat in summer and 3n1 Ivory Beige in winter. I heard all the rave reviews for this so thought I’d try it. I consulted with Estée Lauder who suggested I use 3n1 ivory beige in futurist because the shades run darker. But it’s still too dark. I put it on the first day and my partner looked at me a bit funny, when pressed he said I’m looking a bit orange. We joked about Oompa Loompas. I put a little on my face and put my usual foundation next to it and the difference is stark. I like my foundation to be perfect match to my skin because I don’t like to wear a thick layer like a mask and unfortunately I can’t wear futurist that way. Also, I find it a bit drying and feel that it emphasises fine lines a little. I still like it and use it but I make sure to moisturise well and mix it with a lighter cool toned foundation. I probably would repurchase but only if I could either get shade matched in store or have the option to return it if it doesn’t work. It’s an odd foundation, I like it but I’m not yet sure if I love it despite having gone through half a bottle by now.

Great foundation
I have been a double wear user for last 10 years and mix between double wear and double wear light, this is a fantastic in between, feels lighter weight than double wear light but has better coverage and the benefit of skincare and high spf. Tube is also much easier than the glass double wear bottles.

Beautiful finish but broke me out
I so wanted to love this foundation. I have normal skin with oily T zone. this foundation looks beautiful on my skin and seems to last really well on me. I loved the finish, natural, glowy but not greasy but unfortunately this foundation broke me out :( I worn it for 3 days straight and every day I had new pimples showing in different areas of my face :( I didn’t change anything in my skincare routine so it has to be foundation … It is such a shame :(

I love the high SPF on this foundation. It's great even if you're wearing facial suncream underneath, I like the added boost of protection and even without suncream underneath it's high enough alone. I really like this foundation, I think that if you are someone who wants something that's really going to provide you with a ton of coverage you'll adore this one - it's definitely way more coverage than I was expecting. I thought it was going to be more towards the lines of a tinted moisturiser, but it's fluid, light-weight, really nice watery easy to blend-in formula. Even though I have a lot of problem areas, redness, discolouration and hyperpigmentation, basically everything that I really want to cover up, it covers everything up flawlessly without it feeling like I have a ton of makeup on. It's also buildable, I can wear this sheered out, adding in an oil or a moisturiser. On my skin type it does set down to more of a satin, soft powder finish on the skin which I really like because depending on the other products that I'm pairing it with, I don't have to set it down with powder which I love. It's not the most touch-up friendly foundation, but I find I don't ever have to when I'm wearing it anyways. If I do find that its coming off in certain areas, I'll typically touch up a different product. Overall, a good foundation in my opinion if you're just looking for something that does it all - you can wear it a little bit sheer, full coverage, it covers all the bases and again just super impressed with the coverage and the pigment in this for being so light-weight and none heavy on the skin.
