Skin saviour
Hadn’t tried an overnight mask before this one and didn’t love going to sleep in it at first. Then I woke up with beautifully moist skin and I have been addicted ever since. That said the smell is still a bit strong, but I am now largely indifferent to it as is my partner. I take samples of this on long haul flights and it saves my skin, otherwise I could get away with using once or twice a week. For when your moisturiser just isn’t cutting it.

I have been using this night mask for a while. It’s not the best on the market but definitely not the worst. Not sure I will be repurchasing as I find many k-beauty night masks much more affordable and effective. The mask is thick so a small amount is needed. It melts into the skin very well and my face looks hydrated and clear in the morning. It does leave a tacky feeling on the skin when applied.

The first time I used this cream I had a sample and didn't read the instructions and found it completely underwhelming .... then I saw how to use it and I have been addicted ever since. It layers wonderfully over any kind of serum, oil, or moisturizer, and I can actually feel a kind of firming action along with the moisture, which at 62 I adore, Waking up with glowing moist skin is such a treat!

Too waxy
Got the sample size in an advent calendar. It does prevent skin from drying out after a scrub or peel, but this mask is so thick and heavy it almost feels like spreading wax on your skin. I can't figure out how to apply an even layer, because the more I try to massage and rub, the more it tends to clump into thick masses. I don't like the fragrance - it smells like men's shaving cream to me. There is still a heavy layer of it on my skin in the morning, and my usual morning cleansing routine (micellar water or homemade lac virginis) doesn't even cut through it.
