Not as good as the standard CC cream
I have been using the standard cc cream for a while - which I love and thought I’d try this version. This is a much lighter cream and it doesn’t give much coverage/colour. If you prefer an application that feels like a serum/lotion rather than a cream and just want a light glow then this will be for you. Not for me though. Great you could buy it in a smaller size to try

Disheartened
I really wanted to like this product! I was so excited to try it as I have used other ergotism cc creams but found this one to turn my skin rather orange in the light? I do have very fair skin and I’m used to the cc cream showing up as a little darker but I wasn’t expecting to look tangerine! The actual cream goes on really well though so it may be more effective to those with a different skin tone.

A bit pricey
It’s not bad stuff, does the job. Works for a guy that doesn’t want people to notice make up. However it’s expensive for what you get. I prefer NARS tinted moisturiser which does the exact same thing and works out better value.

Great For Summer
This is surprisingly good. Very lightweight gel and therefore excellent for summer. You have to rub it in and then the little spheres containing the colour disperse. It works well and gives a lovely tint - great for non-make up days. I chose the shade dore. I am quite pale and it gave a natural looking colour - bit of a tan. Some cream blusher and gloss and you're done. I bought the small one as quite expensive but will repurchase. Only four stars as no SPF.

I was really skeptical at first because I am of south asian decent so my skin is rich tan and I was worried the shade would be off. I chose the shade caramel and it worked out really well! The little capsules broke really easily when I rubbed the cream in with my hands and evened out my skin tone. My skin looked so flawless and not greasy at all. I have oily skin and certain skin tints can sink into the pores on my face and look unflattering, but I did not have that issue with this CC Water due to its gel texture. I would definitely buy this again in the bigger size!

Harder to use than you’d think
I was so so so excited about getting this. Thinking it would be a really quick fix to a light dewy coverage look with the bonus of some skincare too. My first application was really patchy, less is more with this product. 2nd go I used a pea sized amount and dotted it around my face. Rubbing it in to break the microspheres takes a bit of work and I felt I needed to be quite rough to break them down. I’ve still got odd little specks of white around my eyes because I don’t want to vigorously rub them. It might be a bit of trial and error. I still want to love the product but for the price I feel sadly underwhelmed.
