My opinion is 50/50
I bought this after seeing a lot of hype about the Elemis product range. This cleansing balm is lovely in texture, smells nice (but strong) and removes make up easily. It does leave a greasy film on your skin so double cleansing is a must (as with most cleansing balms). For me I have combination skin oily in my t-zone and dryer on other areas of my face this didn’t seem to cause any breakouts on the oily areas. The products fragrance is very strong abit too overpowering for me personally, my skin is also sensitive with fragranced products - however this didn’t irritate me too much but it’s not ideal. When used on your eyes it will cause a fog if you open your eyes with the balm on and it did sting my eyes even before they where opened and left them red that’s another downside for me. Personally there are a lot of better cleansing balms on the market in my opinion however if you want something more luxurious and don’t have many skin concerns this may work for you. I wouldn’t repurchase this myself but I’m glad I tried it as it’s 50/50 in my opinion but I didn’t get any good skin benefits from it.
