- Application: Apply to dry hair. Load up small end of brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out – do not use sweeping motion. Apply more powder as needed. To extend highlights, use side edge of small brush. Lightly dust off any excess powder with wide end of brush.

Root cover
Works well for me in medium brown which covers my grey hairs but looks fairly natural. Needs to be applied correctly though as brushing it through doesn’t work.

Don’t buy
I was hoping this would help cover my roots during hair dressing appointments. My natural hair is very dark - sadly this doesn’t really help disguise my roots. It helped slightly fade them but I wouldn’t really say it’s worth the money.

I frequently dye my hair just to cover grey hairs at the root, this has been a lifesaver - It really does work so well, I can apply on hair wash day and it'll cover my greys for 3-4 days until the next wash. It's saving money and time by not having to go to the hairdressers as frequently. The powder form also seems to act as a dry shampoo as I've found my hair stays fresher for longer! Dark Brown Root Cover Up
I tried this product after getting fed up of the usual sprays leaving residue all across my forehead and giving a tacky feel to my hair. The pros: blends really well with my roots, easy to apply and seems to last well throughout the day with no need for touch ups. I have grey patches at the front of my hair, right where my part is and above my temples which makes it look my hair is receding but this sorts that out completely and looks natural too! Cons: quite pricey!!! Not sure whether a good eyeshadow would work just as well or if there is something in this product that makes the powder stick to the hair better but it is quite expensive compared to other products. My only con as otherwise I think this is great for dark haired people!
