The mascara is accompanied by a large curved brush, seeking to coat each and every lash with bold black pigments, while providing unparalleled lift. Effortless to remove, the mascara ensures long-lasting definition that doesn’t clump or smudge.
Start at lash roots, wiggling the inner curve of the brush to lash tips. Repeat to build. For optimal effect, briefly press and hold the outer curve of the brush against lashes to set the lift and curl.
Warm water removal: Use fingertips to splash warm water (bath temperature is ideal) on lashes several times and press gently. Mascara will slide right off. Or, wet a cotton pad with warm water, press to eye, then wipe away. Not recommended for use with makeup remover.

ok but not great
my quest for the perfect mascara continues. I have hooded eyes so looking for something that doesn't transfer, this mascara didn't transfer to upper lids however I'm not sure if it was the fact it was a travel size or the brush itself but was very messy to apply.

I wanted to try a few tubing mascaras so I purchased this one and a different one, doesn't smudge or run really nice quality and curved brush doesn't hold a curl which is disappointing but as far as smudge proof this one is brilliant

Not as good as I'd hoped
I'm a massive fan of tubing mascaras and was excited to try this one. The fact it's only travel size doesn't help but the wand is awful! It's curved but is too tiny for my eyes by a long way so the application is very messy. If I'd had another Clinique travel mascara, I'd have swapped the wands but I couldn't find one in my stash. It doesn't flake, doesn't rub off and my lashes look thicker and longer but it's no comparison to Hourglass Unlocked. I found although it does wash off with warm water, you still need to work at it to get it off- my usual Hourglass mascara tends to slide off easily which I like as I feel my lashes are treated a little more kindly!
