Great in between colours

I love these clairol root colours for covering grey roots between hair appointments. I use them approx 3 weeks after a salon hair dye. They are very convenient as very quick (10 minutes) and the consistency is very thick, so easy to apply, not too messy and easy to wash off. Also, the grey coverage is very good. On my hair, the colour comes out darker than you might expect, so you might need to experiment. I mix the 8.5a with the light ash brown to achieve what I want (light brown).

I only use this brand and I don't need to colour whole hair. Initially they didn't have my shade so I opted for more reddish tone - perfect. It wasn't as red as I thought it may be but I accidentally left it a bit longer and all was fine. Cover grey hair very well.
