Best Gentle Skin Cleanser for Sensitive Skin

Gentle glowy cleanser
Got this as part of my Beauty Box and have never bothered with cream cleansers as I don’t find them to be particularly beneficial unless you use them as part of a two step cleansing routine. This product is really nice and left my skin feeling plump but definitely not one to use for removing makeup. I tried it and my towel was still dirty when drying my face. But for a second cleanse or for those days you don’t wear make up, would highly recommend

Strange smell & doesn't foam!
I received this product for free as part of LookFantastic's Beauty Plus scheme. I like a mild cleanser and normally use Clinique's Mild Liquid Facial Soap. I tried the product today (I've had it unopened since I received it two months ago as I was using up my remaining cleanser) and I was disappointed. I have oily skin, I normally use foaming cleanser in the morning and use a micellar water to remove make up in the evening. The first thing I noticed about this cleanser was the smell, it's unperfumed but smells 'old'- it's a hard smell to describe but the smell is not pleasant at all. It's a little like the smell of some of the Aveeno products, kind of an oily smell. I was also disappointed that this is not a foaming cleanser, you can wash it off but it felt like it left a film on my skin and I wasn't keen on it. The packaging says you can leave a layer on your skin however, so maybe this is what is meant to happen. I would imagine that if you have a dry skin and like a creamy-type cleanser, this may be for you. I'm glad I didn't pay for this as I was disappointed and I think it's quite expensive, despite being a large, industrial-looking bottle.

Good gentle cleanse
This really is a gentle style of cleanser. Doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry and it is anti fungal also which is great if like me you suffer with sebboric dermatitis at times. Only thing I would say is it’s not amazing at removing oils and makeup but I use it in a second step of my double cleanse.

It's OK
I have sensitive skin which usually always stings when using a new product until it gets used to it. I wasn't sure whether to rate this as a 3 or 4 star product but have gone with 4 because at no point has this made my skin sore or caused any reaction. You have the option to use it with or without water, personally I thought my skin felt nicer when using it without. However, it's not a product I would purchase, it didn't give my skin the fresh, clean feeling I get with my usual cleanser but I'm glad I tried it.
