- Application:: Recommended use in the evening only and always follow with SPF protection in the daytime. Use pump applicator to dispense product onto fingers. We suggest start with a small amount, and by using once a week. Then build up use that is tolerated by your skin. Avoid contact with eyes and lips, if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. This product may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Always use a sun protection in the daytime and limit sun exposure when using this product.
- Routine: Discover CeraVe's routine for post-breakout marks. Cleanse the skin thoroughly using CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser. Recommended use day and night. In the morning, follow with CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 50. In the evening, apply CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum.

I've been using this for over 2 months haven't really noticed any visible changes, I switched over from my regular retinol as this was cheaper and I've had more break outs and dryer skin since using this. I think it's the additional niacinamide in this that my skin doesn't like. I think this product is good if you're on a tight budget but if you're sensitive to niacinamide I wouldn't bother.

Getting into retinol
I'm learning how to use retinol at the min, but I always buy cerave blemish control stuff so figured I'd give this a go as I trust the company. Haven't had any issues with it and use it twice a week.
