Dissapointed
I bought this as a gift, but it sadly leaked in transit so wasnt suitable for gifting. I did decide to not waste the remaining product, but sadly it wasnt for me. A very liquid texture, but despite having hyalauronic acid it it, it was very matt, sunk badly into pores and lines and had a very dry powdery finish to it

Didn’t live up to the hype for me
I purchased this off of the back of some good reviews and although it’s definitely usable it does take some work blending and cakes a bit around my nose hairline etc, very pricey for what you could get from most other store bought foundations.

Best foundation
I’ve worn this foundation a few times now and I have to say the texture and the coverage are beautiful. It has a smooth velvet feeling when applying with fingers to the skin that spreads evenly without being heavy. Applying with a brush or a sponge also is easy and doesn’t streak. I’ve got combination skin and this foundation doesn’t cling or cake - it sits nicely on the skin and melts in. It also doesn’t feel heavy at all. I am so impressed with the lasting power; it lasted for more than 6 hours each time I’ve worn it with little to no touching up. A little really does go a long way! I definitely like the way it looks on my skin!

So disappointed
I was so disappointed with this foundation. I didn’t mind the runny consistency or smell but the product did not sit well in my skin. I have combinational skin, but my skin is in good condition. The foundation was very patchy and did not wear well at all, my forehead looked like a grease pan by the end of the day. I’ve tried lots of different applications, fingers, brush and sponge. Also, tried different moisturisers and primers underneath but nothing made it apply or sit well. Very disappointed considering the price.

AMAZING with the right skin prep
As a makeup artist it take a lot to get me excited about a foundation and this one ticked all the boxes for me. It feels so light on the skin and lasts all day. I feel this foundation can have its finish changed depending on what you put on your skin before it. For more of a glowing skin finish use a moisturiser and hydrating primer. And for more of a matte finish I found using the by terry cellularose cc serum makes this foundation sit very flat which is fab for more evening makeup but can see how this has such a mixed bag of reviews. 100% try preping the skin with different things to make it work for you.

Drying
Read other reviews which said this might be drying but tried it anyway as I love Cover Expert and ByTerry generally. I find this makes my skin dry and look generally very flat, even with cellularose serum underneath. Won’t buy again. Just hope they don’t discontinue cover expert!

I'll never use another foundation
