Not for me
Nothing too special about this product. It did smooth down flyaways but I also found it very heavy on my hair. It wasn’t particularly very good in my opinion I’m honestly not sure what I expected from it.

Not worth buying
I have thin long natural hair and I don't see any difference if I use this product or not. No scent at all. The best thing that it does not make my hair greasy.

In love with this smell
It smells incredible. All B&B products seem to but this is the most moreish fresh, herbaceous scent. It’s nice on ends, I always have a beachy dishevelled situation going on anyway so this isn’t necessarily going to be transformative on my hair but it adds a little shape and shine. Would recommend more for straighter hair types looking to look a bit more lived in.

Nice product
I have thick Asian hair, and I rarely use products as I don't like my hair to feel too dirty or gunky. Bumble & Bumble Brilliantine (50ml) is the only product I use regularly, as I can run my hands through my hair and not feel the residue, which is great! I want hair that is messy, with a bed head vibe that looks effortless, and this ticks all those boxes. I rub it into the ends of my hair, and it gives it a subtle undone look.

This product is amazing - it does exactly what it says on the tin and I agree that it's hard to define, just like Bumble and Bumble says. I have wavy hair, that's not very thick but I have a lot of it so it doesn't look fine (if that makes sense!) and I use this product both after washing - in conjunction with Bumble and Bumble tonic, thickening spray, and their surf spray), and once a day in between washes. A little goes and long long way so if you've tried it before and not got the desired effect I imagine you were using too much. I scrunch the cream through my hair very sporadically and messily and the effect is perfectly slept-in sexy bed hair with beautiful separation. It is an expensive product but like I've found with all Bumble and Bumble products, it is worth it!!! And one tube will last you ages!!

Great styling product!
This is one of my all-time favourite styling products. It gives light hold, and not as much shine as the name might suggest, but that's really a blessing in disguise as so many products of this type impart greasiness - this one definitely doesn't. It seems to work best on slightly damp hair, and never causes matting or tangles. Perfect product if you want a natural tousled effect. Why the description markets it as a 'guy' product I don't know - the scent is rose and all my girly mates love it and use it too!
