Give curly hair a boost with the Bouclème Curl Defining Gel; a lightweight, deeply moisturising formula that creates a veil over hair to add ultimate body and bounce.
Delivering frizz control around the clock, the gel effortlessly defines and shapes curls, whilst enhancing shine and smoothing strands from root to tip. No greasy residue, flaking or stickiness.
Free from sulphates, parabens and silicones.
- Application differs depending on your curl texture and desired results.
- Apply to soaking wet hair.
- For extra volume: Pour gel into palms and graze gel over canopy, tip head forward and graze underneath. Apply more gel to ends and scrunch hair up towards head. Scrunch and hold each section for 10 seconds to encourage curl formation.
- For volume control: Use fingers to rake gel through hair in sections starting at the back of the head and working towards the front. Ensure even distribution. This method works well for medium/thick textures to elongate curls and prevent shrinkage.
- Style as usual. Avoid touching hair until completely dry to prevent frizz. Once hair is completely dry, tip head forward and scrunch out gel.

The only gel that works for me
Literally the only gel that works for my hair type. I am 2c/3a, very prone to frizz and also many products totally way down my hair and cause stickiness or just completely outweigh the texture. This gel is beautifully light but also holds my texture. totally totally worth the price, especially since it lasts so long as only need a small amount.

Best gel for curls
This is my favorite gel, it's medium hold, works perfectly for washday or refreshing. It's medium hold. Makes hair glossy, but not sticky. When I refresh my hair, if it feels like maybe I could use some extra moisture, I sometimes also mix it with the same line conditioner for a softer hold more moisturizing feel. Very versatile, I have now decided to stop trying out other gels because this one is perfect and I always miss it when I use something else. So I now keep an extra on hand so I do not run out.

Love this, curls are defined yet the gel does not feel too heavy in my hair. Leave on and comb through then a quick scrunch and style in the morning when dry and they sit perfectly. Just a shame about the smell for me, I like citrus but it smells similar to a cleaning product for me!

I have 3A curly hair and bought this gel with the Boucleme curl cream. They are not compatible for mixing! Lumpy texture with white bits! Disappointed as does not mix with any of my other favourite leave in conditioner and curl cream! Not moisturising and will be returning!
