Product has made my hair really soft and silky and my curls are so defined! Absolutely recommend, only downfall is the smell, if you don’t like strong lavender and minty smell then don’t buy. Although the smell doesn’t linger in the hair for too long the smell is very strong

Tiny amount needed
I absolutely love this product. You only need a pea size amount for shoulder length hair. I use it with a curling custard to add structure to my curls. This product keeps my curls frizz free and creates a beautiful shine.

So disappointed!
I've been trying the curly girl method for 12 months now with varying degrees of success. I still haven't find my wining routine so I decided to give the Bouclème range a go. I bought a travel set that came with four products. I would absolutely recommend buying products this way, because you get to try them at a fraction of the cost and can try items from across the range. I have started leaving reviews because I hope they will help someone with simular hair from spending their hard earned money on products that don't match their claims. I have very fine hair although there is quite alot of it. My hair takes a long time to get saturated in the shower. On a good day I would say my hair is a 3a but it can become weighed down, losing some curl pattern and forms more of a wave on a bad day. I was so disappointed by this curl cream, after reading all of the rave reviews. Initially I tried a tiny amount (5p size) for fear that it would weigh my hair down. The product is creamy but not very thick. I tired putting it on my hair neat and also emulsified between my hands with plenty of water. I also tried using more if the product, around 50p size dollop. The product has a very strong smell, not unpleasant but certainly stronger then other products I have used. The product went on to my hair nicely and left squishy clumps when applied in the shower. The product didn't leave a cast and didn't feel gungky in my hair when dried. Unfortunately it also didn't give enough hold for me, it also stretched my curls into waves, although the hair didnt actually feel weighed down. This product just wasn't for me, I haven't even finished it because I know I can get better results with other products. I think if your hair has a strong curl pattern and you are looking for moisture from a product and not much hold, this would be worth trying. Good luck!

I'm very disapointed with this product. Cream made my hair like a massive ball of grease. I bought a few products from same brand and as for me, gel is the the best from all of them.

Nice product
I find that the curl cream with the gel gives best results on my hair, lovely soft curls. After washing, conditioning I'd apply the cream to wet hair as leave in conditioner, wrap in a towel, let it dry a bit and generously apply the gel. Let the hair dry and break up the cast. Very easy to re-style on second, third or even fourth day - just wet the hair with my hands and scrunch it up. Sometimes with a little bit more gel. I'm now also using the unisex gel on top but not getting better results so might not buy a new one. The only thing is, I do not like the smell but evaporates quickly and I'm very happy with the product itself so still 5 stars.

Very good curl activator
This product is highly concentrated so use sparingly until you know how much you need. I have long curly (2C/3A )hair and a fair amount of it and this has lasted me over 9 months with daily use (just to give an idea because it can seem a little pricey). Great to use within a curly girl method and works brilliantly with the Boucleme gel (yellow stripes) on top.

Best for moisturizing dry curls
I use this on my Daughter's 3b and 3c hair. Both have low porosity hair especially D with 3c nothing usually penetrates her hair but for both hair curl types this leaves their hair beautifully soft. I have 2a hair and can use this for styling straight wavy or curly, its a lovely smelling moisturiser with no horrible chemicals. Highly recommended and will buy again.
