Bobbi Brown's No Smudge Mascara in 'Black' is a long-wearing, waterproof mascara that expertly defines, curls and lengthens lashes from root to tip.
The buildable mascara can be applied sparingly for a natural finish, or built upon layer after layer for an intensified lash look. Its patented brush coats every individual lash evenly without risk of clumping, smudging or flaking; lashes look elongated with maximum curve appeal (with all day, ten hour wear).
Wear alone or layer over other mascaras to render them instantly waterproof: it's 'a raincoat for lashes'.

Brush through lashes, starting at the base of the lash line, working up the length of lashes to the tips. Apply a second coat if desired. Remove with Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover.

Not entirely waterproof
This is a lovely mascara if you are wanting more volume than length, it doesn’t look clumpy at all and lasts really nicely throughout the day, only giving four stars because I got caught in the rain wearing this once and I did not look cute! So definitely not entirely smudge proof, but in most cases it’s great - doesn’t even smudge underneath my eyes which I find happens quite a lot with other formulas when I apply to my bottom lashes!

I've been using clinique mascara for years but think they've changed the formula have found it smudging under my eyes really badly. This mascara has a great brush which easy to use & makes my eye lashes look natural. There is no smudges which is brilliant as I use eye drops. I would recommend this product if you have a problem with panda eyes !

Not sure it’s quite smudge proof
I was looking for a no smudge mascara as I frequently get black smudges under my eye from mascara even though I set my under eye with a baking powder. This mascara is good! It’s easy to apply, buildable and a black mascara that darkens the lashes for a heavier look. It doesn’t crumble or flake and it’s all in all a good mascara. Unfortunately I do still get a little smudging under the eye but the amount is much less compared to a normal mascara. The bottle is quite small but a little goes a long way. I would purchase again for a daytime mascara.
