Where do I begin? I'm so happy I decided to purchase this. I've Never even used a Bareminerals product in my life until now. I was sick of liquid foundation and how oily and patchy my face looked after a couple of hours, I can't stand to think of how much I've spent on premium brand foundations and primers designed for oily skin that have just done nothing for me. So, I thought I would spend an hour (or 3) searching through all the different products on look fantastic, I've come to really love the website for the huge range of products and the prices are very good. Well, I stumbled across this, I liked the idea of the minerals and how it's actually good for the skin, after doing a bit of research and finding there was an original formula and a matte one I decided this matte one was definitely for me and this comes with a a full size finishing powder, application brush and a totally cute makeup bag, apparently making a huge saving compared to buying the products separately. It arrived yesterday, 2 days after ordering, very well packaged and in perfect condition. I just couldn't wait to try the matte foundation, i was leaving for work in about 20 minutes so I quickly washed my face and popped some moisturiser round my chops, then delved in. The pot has a sifter that opens and closes which is brill (no mess) you just tap some into the lid, swirl the brush into it and tap off the excess. So I started to swirl it onto my skin.. around my cheeks, up to my forehead, down my nose and my god it looked fantastic already, just one thin layer and it didn't look like powder at all somehow, I went in with some more, concentrating it under my eyes to cover my circles- no cakeyness whatsoever, swirled by the sides of my nose- covered any redness perfectly. Already thrilled with the look of my skin- natural and pretty looking, I decided to try the mineral veil. I could see that it was ever so slightly shimmery, kind of luminous so I thought I would use it as a kind of highlight and oh looorrrd it's gorgeous, I applied it like before with the same brush and it left the most beautiful dewy pinkish sheen over the top of my cheekbones, not shimmery, sort of a natural glow. My skin looked fresh and clear and lovely but didn't look like I had an ounce of makeup on, like how? HOW? After 9 hours in work (hot humid day) I arrived home and inspected my face, it looked the same as when I freshly applied it, no oily bits and patchy bits and funny flakey dry bits just fresh perfect skin. Im sure you can tell by the essay I have just written that I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE it. I've found THE ONE!!
