Swirl a small amount of foundation in the cap until it disappears into the brush. Tap away any excess. Buff onto your skin circular motions. This activates the minerals and transforms them from a powder to a silky cream. Repeat until you’ve achieved the coverage you want.

Repeat Buy for a Natural Luminous Complexion
I've been using Bare Minerals for more than eleven years, and although I now wear a base (cc cream) from another brand, I use the Original Loose Powder foundation daily; to naturally cover any imperfections (as the cc cream I use doesn't really cover, but more even out tone); along with the Bare Minerals Illuminating Mineral Veil for setting. I also find this the perfect way to touch up if the day continues into other activities, - I then mix a tiny bit of this and tiny bit of the Illuminating Veil (in one of the lids) and brush that onto areas that needs a touch up, and find this just freshens up the make up without caking, and it just blends and melts, yet again, beautifully into skin. I find this does just that; melts into skin and creates a luminous and even complexion, and I often get compliments on my ''skin'' rather than ever my make up. I'm a fair neutral skin tone, with dark blonde hair and green eyes and 'Fairly Light' has been my trusted shade through all the years. I start mixing in 'Medium Beige' gradually when I tan in summer (again this is easy by just mixing tiny amounts in one of the lids).

I have used this product for over 15 years!!! I buy other foundations but for me, nothing is as great. You can build up coverage without looking like you have a mask on…. I like to look made-up, but then other times, just a light brush over will be like a tinted moisturiser look. Amazing!

Been using this for years after realising the silicones in liquid foundations were what was breaking me out. Tried out liquid foundation for the first time in about 7 years and it just emphasises my pores . Much prefer this, doesn’t exaggerate my pores and doesn’t break me out, but you do have to get the moisturising and exfoliating right when using this or it shows up your dry spots.
