A work around
Unfortunately my hairdryer was not one of those that it fit on to. I knew there was a likely chance when I ordered, as they do caveat in the details to say it only fits certain models of Babyliss hair dryers. As a potential workaround, I have removed the white elasticated band fitted within the diffuser (a little fidderly) and fitted it directly on to the end of my hairdryer. The diffuser will now stay on the end of the dryer. Hoping this is a workable solution, but not used it to a great extent like this yet.

When my trusted old BaByliss hairdryer gave up and its diffuser which had never fitted properly being broken, I decided to buy the BaByliss Pro 3 in 1 diffuser for another BaByliss hairdryer I was given at Christmas. Initially I was dismayed to find that it did not fit. Then I removed the white plastic ring inside it and now it fits and works perfectly.
