Aveda Sun Care Hair & Body Cleanser features a colour-safe formula with corn-derived chelator that gently removes chlorine, salt and product residue. Containing green tea, organic sunflower oil, vitamin E, tamanu and organic coconut oils which help maintain moisture balance. It also makes a great replacement to the discontinued Aveda Pure Plant Shampoo Hair Detoxifier.
Directions of use:
- Apply to wet hair and body and work into a creamy lather.
- Rinse.
- For hair, follow with Sun Care After-Sun Hair Masque.

Great for swimmers
I swim daily in a chlorinated pool and have very thick, coarse, curly hair. this is the only shampoo that removes the chlorine from both my hair and skin (chlorine itch is awful) and i have tried everything over the last 10 years or so i have been swimming.

Smells lovely
The smell of this is gorgeous, it really is like a summers day. However, I didn't find it great on my hair. Maybe that is the frequency of use as I bought it for the gym. If you have normal to greasy, or fine hair, it might be ok. But as mine's the complete opposite, ie. thick wavy and a little frizzy/coarse, you might find a residue build up which can lead to itching, as I did. I rinsed well too. Shame but I guess these one fits all products don't work so good on all areas, and my hair will always need special attention! But, for a nice body lather that puts you in a good mood, it's perfect!

Bought this product as I have started swimming again on a regular basis. My hair is think and absorbs chlorine very quickly. This product is very good and would recommend as it helps keep my highlighed hair from becoming bittle by washing out the excess chlorine.
