Add body, volume and shine to your fine hair with the Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam. It activates curl and controls frizz in your textured and permed hair, while giving light to medium hold.
Directions of use:
- Do not shake the bottle.
- Spray 1-2 pumps into your hand.
- Apply Phomollient to your damp hair.
- Rub your hands together to distribute evenly.
- Distribute near the roots for added lift.
- Use a round brush and blow dry your hair to create volume.
- Alternatively, use a diffuser while blow drying to create soft curls that keep their shape.

Bad for fine hair
Amendment to a previous positive review. Just an update because I noticed after a few weeks of using this product my long fine hair changed dramatically .. it became dry and unbrushable … so many knots which in turn lead to breakage that even my hairdresser asked what had happened to my hair. I love aveda products but this product is so awful it needs minus points.

This is why I love Aveda
All curl products I tried makes my hair crunchy, especially mousses. This product does not. It does not give a hair dirty look either on the next day. I am trying not to wash hair every day, but styling products make me wash everyday. Now I skip days, I just damp hair a little on the second day and hair looks fresh and clean.
