Create a smooth, glowing canvas for foundation with the Armani Luminous Silk Hydrating Primer. Designed to accompany the cult favourite Luminous Silk Foundation, this radiant primer helps to add a natural-looking luminosity to the skin and promotes seamless and even makeup application. The primer nourishes and moisturises with skin with Shea Butter and Glycerin to help maintain a healthy-looking, dewy complexion even after a day of wearing makeup.
Translucent Polymers and Crystal-Encapsulated pigments help to reflect light and blur the appearance of imperfections. The primer can be used both under and over makeup, to add a dewy finish. Inspired by the luxurious texture of charmeuse silk, the hydrating primer helps to create a touchably soft, illuminated complexion.
Before foundation: Apply the primer to the skin with fingertips, working from the centre of the face outwards, to prep your complexion for foundation. Finish with Luminous Silk Hydrating Primer, for perfected and radiant-looking skin.
Over foundation: A pearl-sized amount of primer can be applied over foundation with fingertips, focusing on the top of the cheekbones, brow bones and cupid’s bow, to create a dewy, highlighted look.

Perfection
This is simply perfection for an easy complexion base, it leaves your skin radiant (but not glowy) and it allows for the foundation to stick better to the face. I can guarantee it does not leave your skin with that 'sylicone feel' that other primers sometimes give, if anything it gives a sensation of truly hydrated skin. You can use it as some sort of sort of moisturiser as it's rather easy to apply

Beautiful product
I’m so impressed with this primer. I’ve previously been using Dermalogica, which is quite a dry cream. This primer is gel like in consistency and is so easy to apply. It seems to be quite moisturising on application but not greasy. Feels good on my skin.

I’ve purchased this after using the Armani luminous silk foundation for years as my holy grail, it’s quite good, it gives a very hydrating glowy base and works well with the foundation. The only downside is that I feel the bottle is quite small however apart from that it’s worth it

Normal skin type. This is a very luxurious product. Foundation sits perfect, skin looks illuminated. I normally use Vieve skin nova or mac illuminating primer - all Provide similar results. Will repurchase when on offer only.

I expected more from this primer—it’s not as hydrating as I had hoped. While some might appreciate the lack of scent, I personally prefer a light fragrance. It has a nice silky texture, but I’ve tried primers that deliver better radiance and a more polished finish. For the price, it’s not worth it. The foundation is great, but the primer doesn’t measure up. I won’t be repurchasing.
