Doesn’t smooth hair

Didn’t have a smoothing affect on my hair so I was using this and then a cheaper conditioner to make it easier to brush. My hairdresser explained that this is for rebuilding bonds but that this is more effective when used at the time of colouring and conditioner should be used in between for smoothing hair.

Olaplex No. 5 smells nice and it is even more effective when you apply before going into a steam room for 10 mins or so. When the hair is dried, it is so much more shinier and easier to manage than before.
