Beautiful on its own; even better with a little skin prep

I was always a black liquid eyeliner fan until I got a sample size of this shade in a gift set. I like the softness of the cocoa compared to the drama of the black – but it's still a striking shade. It dries quite quickly so it's perfect for cat eyes; there's no room to blur/blend if you're looking for something more malleable. It has a bit more staying power than the black, even moreso if you start with an eye primer (which I really recommend to get the most out of it.) I don't think I'll ever switch to another brand.

This is the nicest shade of brown eyeliner I've found - not too dark or light. The applicater gives a very nice cat-eye, but sometimes I find it a bit stabby on the eye. It also disappears very quickly if my eyes water or I'm particularly sweaty.
