The best home alternative to Gel.

I had to to take a break from gel for a while. This is the best alternative. I can get a week out of one application. 4 stars because it can take a while to dry but not over complaints!!

Essie Gel Couture Top Coat is by fsr one of the best I've ever owner, right next to Seche Vite. For plus: * phenomenally glossy * plumps up the nail surface * dries in 5 minutes * hardens in about 50 minutes * well profiled wide fan brush * extens manicure by 2-3 days * doesn't chip or peel within 5 days * smoothes little imperfections left by coloured nail paint underneath * doesn't bubble * doesn't thicken too fast in the bottle For minus: * awkwardly shaped bottle makes it hard to roll between palms * strong chemical odour * hard to reach the bottom so some product gets wasted * opaque bottle making it impossible to control level of product left Overall, this top coat does exactly what it says. It sets nicely even on not so dry colour underneath. Doesn't create lines, doesn't smudge, doesn't spill around cuticles. Beginner friendly and will definitely stay with me for a long time if the manufacturer refrains from reformulating it.
