Good for thicker hair
This is lovely for my niece’s Afro hair. It smells great and is a lovely texture but too heavy for my fair hair.

The best curling custard around!
I have tried so many curling custards, gels, creams, and soufflés, but this one is by far the best in terms of hold! Its only rival is the Kinky Curly Custard, but when you consider the price difference it’s a no brainer! Custards always seem to have a much stronger hold than creams and soufflés, and some gels too depending on what the gel is meant to be used for (ie, EcoStlyer gels), and although this can have that crunchy’ hold, this depends entirely on how much product you use. I prefer a crunchy hold as that’s how I know it’ll last all day, but this doesn’t need to be the case if you’re not a fan of that. I apply it to soaking wet hair after a leave in conditioner, pop my bonnet on and go to sleep! That way it’s ready to go in the morning. The only downside is if you try to pull curls apart after it’s fully dried, or if you ‘play’ with your hair after it’s fully dried, as it can turn to little white fluffy looking bits, which is why I gave it a 4 star. These are no major issue, as all you need to do is just wet/damp the effected area and it seems to reactivate again!

Could be better.
I have 2b wavy hair, and it really dries my hair out. Maybe it's because I already have some hair damage from coloring it on my ends, but it makes it even drier. Otherwise, it's good, made my hair more defined and it smells great!
