Don't waste your money
1This is my first beauty box and last. So disappointed. Can't believe this is value for money. Gave a couple of bits to my daughter. The rest will probably go in the bin with the exception of the elemis mask. I have this and love it although sample received would probably only give you two or three uses. Really poor!

A Good Value for money box !!!
5I enjoy trying new products and this box was full of products I hadn't tried, fine it wasn't as good as the previous boxes but it was still very good value for money. I especially liked the Ole Henriksen oil, Elemis papaya peel, Murad cleanser and comb. I will be buying the January box!!!

Beautiful Beauty Box!
5High value for the money. This is my third beauty box, and I think its a wonderful treat to myself each month Young skin benefits from antiageing products as well. Really nice way to try new products. Will definitely re-purchase :-)

Disappointed!
1Waste of money, all sample sizes and nothing i would even use. not impressed with this. save your money and get a birchbox or glossybox. will not be purchasing this again, you would think the December box would be the best of the year!

Christmas beauty box?..
1Whoever was employed to handpick December's box content must be fired. Simple as that. Those people probably call themselves experts in this field but in reality they don't have a clue...

Terrible;never again
1I concur , my review has been deleted among many others; Here again: Just got my "Xmas" beauty box.. huge disappointment...they are all sample sizes ; to me comes as shocking, considering I am a subscriber to both Glossybox and Birchbox which always include at least 2 full size products in their box and they cost just 10 GB. LIB collections also do a great job with their boxes. The comb is so out of theme for the festive seasons! It could have been cheerful for the summer time, but receiving this in a December box is rather ridiculous. ( Nevertheless it looks so cheap.. and sorry, who doesn't own a comb already?) Again the collagen,it's animal derivative, it is a wrong choice and it's totally pointless as you need to drink it for at least for 4 weeks. I was also totally outraged that bloggers have received their boxes with a full size lord and berry pencil and a full size Bourjois trio palette; I got a tiny pencil and a single shade;this is misleading and frankly dishonest. The rest of the items comes all in sample size which is a turn off. Not happy at all to have paid for samples, that you can basically get for free elsewhere , half of which I won't be using. I used lookfanstatic again after long time and I had high expectation with the box; needless to say I won't ever again buy their beauty boxes and will carefully consider using this site again. Huge disappointment, considering it's Xmas and there are huge promotions going on elsewhere and in big stores, I frankly feel ripped off.

disappointed
2Having bought the November beauty box which I loved I was looking forward to the December one. This turned out to be a complete disappointment with things like clear lip gloss, Bourjois eyeshadow, a bottle of gold collagen and a comb of no interest to me. Ole Henriksen oil was good to try but has such a strong fishy smell. Elemis papaya enzyme peel is good though. But I am even more disappointed to see Lookfantastic deleting bad reviews!

Amazing Box (again)
5This is my fourth LookFantastic beauty box and all have been fabulous. This months is no exception - I think it's a great box and at around £70 worth of product for £15 the value is fantastic. The LookFantastic box is the best beauty box available at the moment BY FAR!!!

As a gift buyer
3I thought I'd buy my wife one of these as a Christmas gift as they seem to all the rage at the moment (at least, I've overheard it in conversation on more than one occasion). So perhaps someone's interested in a review from the perspective of a man purchasing a "beauty box" as a gift. I can very much understand why these are popular - like opening a new present each month with unknown contents, attractive packaging and the anticipation of something new inside. I'll just take some of the magic out of the experience for a moment however - apologies. I opened the box, then hunted around LookFantastic to calculate how much this would have cost me if I'd had to buy all the component parts separately. I just don't want to feel like i've just paid for some fancy packaging! Actually, even though some of the products are small versions, it does seem to be pretty reasonable value for money. Pro rata, i reckon this collection of the unknown (to me anyways) products would be about 60 pounds plus, and you get it for a quarter of that. Not bad. Some of the products seem quite "nice" - to be honest i don't know what half of it does but their full size versions are expensive. However, i would question the value of including something that's a day's supply (or so) when you need to use it for much longer (the collagen stuff), and the travel pencil thingy was pretty small! I wanted to give it 4 stars, but i'll stick at 3 and, if my wife likes it on Christmas day, perhaps i'll give it another try for her birthday.
