The Avène Intense Protect SPF50+ Sun Cream is a comprehensive sun protection fluid for the face and body. Specifically designed for those with sensitive skin, including babies from six months*, children, pregnant women, and those with tattoos, the formula offers very high UV protection without irritation to the skin.
Powered by Triasorb™, a unique sun filter that absorbs and reflects UVA, UVB and blue light, the sunscreen applies with a lightweight consistency that resists leaving a sticky, white or oily residue. Tested for the most intense conditions (high altitude, tropical weather, high humidity), the sunscreen, the water-resistant and sweat-resistant formula keeps skin hydrated and protected for up to eight hours.
*Babies and young children should not be exposed to direct sunlight. They should wear protective clothing (hat with a large rim, sunglasses, T-shirt, etc.).
Before exposure to the sun, apply the product evenly onto the skin. Re-apply sunscreen frequently, especially after swimming or prolonged periods of exposure. Avoid exposure between noon and 4pm.

Perfect for under makeup
Oredered because I use a lot of Avene products due to sensitive skin. I use it under make up or on its own. I have hyperpigmentation and use Retinol to deal with it, so I need to use a 50 sunblock at all times. This works really well for me.

Brilliant
On my second purchase of this and it has been brilliant. Love that this is an alcohol free sun cream as they are not the easiest to find for the body. I have very sensitive skin and I have had absolutely no problems with this product. Applies smoothly and lasts on the skin for a good amount of time. Has a slight tint to it which isn't what I expected, but as it is so slight and not really noticeable so I don't mind at all. Five stars for this sun cream!

Great option
Great suncream. I bought when pregnant as worried about all the chemicals on my sensitive skin and this worked brilliantly & protected skin. Felt lovely to apply. Not too thick but melted into skin. Highly recommend.

Avene intense protect spf50 sun cream for sensitive skin
I have no doubt this is a wonderful spf but it left all my T-shirts with a yellow stain that I struggle to removed even with Vanish. I only used it in my face, neck and décolleté. I didn’t attempt to use it on my body because of this. I am sure something can be done I. The formula to avoid this.

Great spf
I use this EVERY single day come rain or shine. I have very dry skin and this is the only spf 50 that doesn’t dry my skin out. I feel hydrated all day. Highly recommend
