Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil is a lightweight, water-resistant UV defence mist that forms an invisible screen to help protect hair from sun exposure for up to sixteen hours, to minimise colour fading, damage and dryness.
Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil is formulated with UVA/UVB filters derived from wintergreen and cinnamon bark oils which help protect hair from sun damage; an anti-oxidising blend of green tea extract, certified organic sunflower seed oil and vitamin E that helps protect against free radicals; and certified organic shea butter, coconut and palm oils to condition and detangle.
Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil also contains a light tropical aroma blend of 100% certified organic essences of neroli, ylang ylang and wild-crafted cistus.
Directions of use:
- Spray evenly on dry or damp hair before and during sun exposure.
- Start with a small amount and layer as needed – do not saturate hair.
- Reapply after swimming.
- To protect hair before sun exposure:
- Spray Sun Care Protective Hair Veil on dry or damp hair.
- Style as usual.
- Reapply after swimming.
- To restore hair after sun exposure:
- Cleanse with Sun Care Hair and Body Cleanser to remove chlorine, salt and build-up head to toe.
- Follow with After-Sun Hair Treatment Masque, roots to ends.
- Leave in 2-5 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- When to Use: Before and during sun exposure.
- Application: Spray evenly on dry or damp hair. Start with small amount and layer as needed—do not saturate hair.
- Routine: Reapply after swimming.

Nice product
This product is a little pricey but I did think it was good at protecting my hair in the sun. My hair didn’t lighten as much as it usually does (which is good for me) and didn’t dry out either. Would buy again.

I used this specifically on holiday. I can’t say for sure if it did a good job of protecting my hair as the look and feel of my hair was no different. So I guess it works? Anyway it smells lovely if nothing else

Great Sun Protection Spray For Hair
Lovely product although quite expensive. Always try to get this on offer. Love the fact that you can use this on dry or damp hair. Doesn’t leave any kind of residue and offers great UV protection for your hair. 😊

UV protection for hair.
My must have at summer especially when hot weather. This spray protects hair from UV. All you have to do spray on dry or damp hair and reapply after swimming if required. Price quite steep.

Great product
I haven’t used this product yet but from the reviews I read and from what I was told the product is amazing. Smell is not the best for me but not unpleasant. Texture is good and size of bottle is perfect to carry around.
